The Data Quality Executive, DACH is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and detail of Cision’s global media database through productive research.

Primarily focused on the DACH market, but with a need to assist globally when required, this role is for an experienced researcher who understands the DACH media landscape in detail.

The job requires staying abreast of media changes in the region, while working autonomously on big projects to improve database quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Researches and verifies media data, and updates the database accordingly, with a particular emphasis on major DACH outlets and/or senior journalists.
• Undertakes special clean-up projects focused on improving data quality.
• Builds relationships with major DACH newsrooms to facilitate the above two goals.
• Maintains a high level of awareness about media industry news in the DACH region, to ensure the database is kept up to date in a timely fashion.
• Manages admin and communication responsibilities efficiently.

Minimum Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in related fields.
• At least three years’ experience working in media research or the broader media/PR industry.
• Previous media or PR industry experience, OR research experience.
• Excellent Computer (MS office) skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
