Description

The Department of Family and Community Medicine at the UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking to fill a part-time faculty position. The successful candidate will join this growing academic practice that is greatly expanding its service area, building new practices, and hiring a significant number of family physicians to join the practice.

Our department is focused on growing our research and extramural funding with opportunities to grow research across our clinical enterprise through innovation and collaboration.

The primary clinical assignment will be to precept residents at various ambulatory clinic sites.

Qualifications

  • M.D. or D.O. degree, eligibility for or certification by the American Board of Family Medicine or equivalent qualifications in family medicine and Texas medical licensure.
  • Licensed or license eligible in Texas.
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a collaborative environment for faculty, staff, and learners or commitment to do so as a faculty member.
