Supply Base Management Specialist (Mid-Level or Lead)

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Base Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, OK.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level or Lead Supply Base Management Specialists.

Position Responsibilities:

Facilitates supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations
Develops and participates in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies
Analyzes and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance data to identify risks, issues and opportunities
Develops mitigation plans
Identifies and participates in supplier and business improvement activities
Provides outcomes for potential integration into contracting strategies

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years’ experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
3+ years’ experience in program management within supplier management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher
3+ years’ experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity
3+ years’ experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action
3+ years’ experience with proposal development and contract negotiations
3+ years’ experience working in supplier management, engineering and/or operations
3+ years’ experience working in a multi-functional team environment
Experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts
Level 4: 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Work Location:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 15% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Mid-Level Summary pay range: USD $82,450 – $101,850

Lead Summary pay range: USD $96,050 – $118,650
