Summary of Role:  

GlobalFoundries' Fab 9 (Essex, VT) is seeking an experienced, skilled, and motivated Facilities Procurement Administrator. This individual will play a key role in ensuring that contracts and projects supporting the Campus & Facilities infrastructure are executed in alignment with the appropriate systems for submission and tracking. 

The role requires expertise in Purchase Order Management, Approval Coordination and Tracking, Supplier Communication, Contract and Financial Tracking, and strong communication and feedback with Facilities Systems Management and Engineering. 

Most responsibilities in this role are performed independently, requiring a self-driven individual with strong time management skills and the ability to proactively seek guidance when navigating complex or unfamiliar situations. The position reports to the Northeast Site Services Manager, with a strong dotted-line relationship to the Facilities Operations/Systems Team that the role supports. 

 

Essential Responsibilities:  

  • Create and submit GFPR’s & POs for services and materials supporting the Fab 9 Facilities Team. 

  • Track invoice exceptions and ensure timely resolution and payment. 

  • Manage urgent procurement requests and prioritize based on operational needs 

  • Act as liaison with vendors for onboarding, contact updates, and PO notifications. 

  • Facilitate vendor setup in Ariba and maintain accurate supplier records 

  • Utilize GFPR, Oracle, and Ariba systems to manage requisitions 

  • Monitor and report on requisition status and system workflows 

  • System entry of new projects, FCWRs, and project funding 

  • Generate reports for GF review and audit purposes 

  • Verify funding for LOAs and WAs, ensuring alignment with business controls. 

  • Track corporate approvals, maintain closeout documentation, and ensure audit readiness. 

Other Responsibilities: 

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. 

  • Other duties as assigned by manager. 

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience in Contracts Administration or a related field. 

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in contracts experience. 

  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Strong planning and organizational skills. 

  • Travel: Up to 5%. 

  • Language: Fluency in English – written and verbal. 

  • Physical Capacity: Extended durations of desk-based activity.  

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Skills - Proficiency in GFPR, Ariba, LOA’s/WA’s, Purchase Order Administration, iSupplier 

  • Proficiency in ORACLE 

 

Expected Salary Range

$41,400.00 - $67,200.00
