JOB SUMMARY

You will be working with one or more engineering teams, spanning multiple time zones, to build and deliver new functionality in the industry leading DAW, Pro Tools.

As a product designer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire design process of a product, from initial concept to final execution, by conducting market research, defining product specifications, creating prototypes, testing usability, and iterating designs to ensure a seamless user experience while aligning with business goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Interact directly with professional and entry-level customers to gather requirements and validate designs.
• Draft definition documentation.
• Create wireframes and prototypes.  Work with visual designers on final UI.
• Scope and groom definition with engineering.  Adjust definition to adhere to deadlines.
• Review and prioritize bug reports for new and existing functionality.
• Draft documentation for Alpha and Beta cycles, as well as review and assist with final release documentation.
• Collaborate with business owners, peers, customer support, and marketing across the release cycle.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• 10+ years experience with Pro Tools in a professional setting
• 3+ years experience with Agile/Scrum
• Deep knowledge of both music and post-production workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Figma or Sketch experience is a plus
