Summary:  Responsible for the entire cycle of the onboarding process.  This role is critical in ensuring a seamless and positive onboarding experience for all new hires.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

New Hires

  • Coordinate and manage the new hire onboarding process using Paycom, ensuring all steps are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires throughout the onboarding process, providing guidance and answering questions.
  • Ensure compliance with all onboarding documentation, including employment eligibility verification (I-9), background checks, Level II Background checks, MVR, Education and Employment verification and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, including HR, Payroll, IT, and hiring managers, to ensure smooth transitions for new employees.
  • Track and follow up on incomplete tasks or missing documents, maintaining regular communication with new hires.
  • Maintain accurate onboarding records and documentation in both digital and physical formats.
  • Assist with scheduling orientations and training sessions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to a diverse employee population, including Spanish-speaking hires.
  • Manage multiple onboarding cases simultaneously in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Continuously identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the onboarding experience.
  • Send a ready-to-start email to hiring managers.
  • Back-up from Front Desk as needed.
  • Perform all other duties as required and assigned. 

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education and experience. 
  • Minimum 2 years of general office and customer service experience, preferably in a Human Resources environment.  Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable.  Proficient in MS Office.

Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills - Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.
