Procurement Manager, Turkiye

We are seeking an experienced and driven Procurement Manager to lead and enhance procurement strategies in Türkiye. This role centers on driving value, managing supplier relationships, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and aligning procurement practices with business objectives. As a pivotal role in our organization, you will act as both a leader and a trusted partner, ensuring that procurement operations deliver significant value, efficiency, and compliance, while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Partnering

Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across Türkiye LOC.
Represent Procurement in high-level forums, such as Leadership Teams (LT), Risk Management & Compliance Boards (RMCB), and others.
Work cross-functionally with departments like Finance, Legal, and Compliance to synchronize procurement processes with organizational objectives.
Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring that procurement strategies enable operational efficiency while addressing stakeholders’ goals.
Offer strategic counsel on market trends, supplier risk mitigation, and capacity development to support informed decision-making.

2. Supplier and Contract Management

Lead sourcing initiatives, supplier selection, and contract negotiations to maximize value while adhering to quality and compliance standards.
Oversee supplier risk management and establish business continuity plans as needed.
Develop and execute supplier strategies specifically tailored for Türkiye LOC.
Evaluate supplier performance regularly to ensure alignment with company standards.
Build and maintain robust strategic relationships with vendors to foster long-term partnerships.
Monitor and manage the lifecycle of contracts, ensuring timely renewals, amendments, or terminations.
Stay abreast of market dynamics such as pricing fluctuations and supplier innovation to inform competitive sourcing strategies.

3. Procurement Operations

Design and execute procurement strategies that align with the organizational vision and goals.
Manage the full spectrum of the procurement process, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
Oversee procurement systems and ensure their accuracy and maintenance.
Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost savings and create added value for the organization.
Provide oversight on procurement activities across all indirect spend categories.
Devise annual procurement plans and set performance targets for Türkiye.
Manage budgets and procurement metrics, driving progress on cost-savings initiatives and KPIs.
Ensure audit readiness through organized documentation and compliance efforts.

4. People Management

Lead, mentor, and inspire the procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Establish clear, measurable objectives for team members, aligning their contributions with broader business goals.
Support individual development plans to enhance team expertise and capability within Procurement.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

7-8 years of solid procurement expertise, preferably within multinational pharmaceutical, FMCG, or other relevant industrial sectors.
Proven experience in managing and developing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving performance.
Strong Analytical and organizational excellence paired with strong communication and presentation abilities.
Fluency in Turkish and English is essential.
Strong understanding of compliance, process orientation, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships.
Familiarity with Power BI and data-driven decision-making.
