About the role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our Support Office Finance team, based in Subiaco. Reporting to the Corporate Accountant, this role manages the end-to-end accounts payable process and ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, reconciliations and supplier engagement.

Key responsibilities include:
• Accurate processing of high-volume supplier invoices in Xero and Lightyear
• Ensuring GL coding, GST values and approvals align with company policy
• Regular review and follow-up of outstanding invoices and approvals
• Liaising with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve queries
• Performing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate vendor records and supporting month-end AP processes
• Contributing to team initiatives focused on process and systems improvement
About you
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
• At least 2 years’ experience in accounts payable or finance administration
• Sound understanding of AP processes, controls and GST
• Proficiency in Xero and intermediate Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
• High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills to liaise with our Centre Directors
• Experience in a multi-entity environment (desirable)
• Familiarity with procurement or purchase order systems (desirable)
