Full Time
Carlile Swim is embarking on a major re‑platforming program across HR (including rostering, L&D, ATS), payroll, operations, finance, and customer systems. As our Technical IT Project Manager, you’ll lead the end‑to‑end technical delivery of these enterprise platforms, from planning through to go‑live and seamless transition to business‑as‑usual.
This is a high‑impact role for someone who thrives in complex delivery environments, understands the full solution lifecycle, and knows how to bridge strategy with execution. You’ll work closely with our Program Manager, executive sponsors, vendors, and business teams to ensure delivery is on time, on budget, integrated, and sustainable.
We’re offering this as a fixed‑term contract (day‑rate) position, with location in Brisbane or Sydney and flexibility for the right candidate. You’ll report directly to our Program Manager and play a critical role in delivering a transformation that will shape how we operate for years to come.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead cross‑platform technical delivery from requirements through to rollout and BAU handover
- Ensure cross‑system design integrity, scalability, and alignment with business workflows
- Manage key vendor partnerships, driving timelines, scope, quality assurance, and escalation resolution
- Govern interdependencies, risks, and architectural integrity across workstreams
- Partner with the Change Manager to ensure adoption, training, and readiness are in place
- Embed robust support models, negotiate SLAs, and ensure BAU is set up for success
- Monitor post‑implementation performance, capture lessons learned, and drive ongoing improvement
What you’ll bring
- Proven success in delivering large‑scale IT re‑platforming or enterprise system implementations
- Deep technical expertise in cloud/SaaS platforms, complex system integration, and scalable enterprise architecture
- Experience managing vendor delivery in multi‑partner environments
- Ability to balance strategic insight with hands‑on delivery
- Skilled at engaging stakeholders from executive to frontline
- Certifications in PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, or ITIL (desirable)
What success looks like
- On‑time, on‑budget delivery of platform transformation streams
- Seamless BAU transition with strong governance and adoption
- High system stability, user satisfaction, and reduced operational workarounds
- Improved data visibility and measurable operational uplift
- Long‑term roadmap and support model established for platform evolution
