The Opportunity:
We are looking for a digitally proficient, performance-driven marketing professional with strong communication skills to help optimise and grow our digital channels across two of New Zealand’s trusted brands: Laser® Plumbing and Electrical and Exceed®.
This role supports the Marketing Manager to optimise digital marketing channels, from paid advertising to social media, SEO, website content, and analytics,. The successful candidate will be the crucial link between internal teams, external agencies and Franchise owners – so strong communication and stakeholder management is essential.
This is a diverse and hands-on role, well suited to a digital marketer who is comfortable working across multiple channels, and can translate insights into practical marketing outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
- Work collaboratively with Agencies on digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, programmatic) from strategy to.
- Optimise website content and performance, including SEO, tagging, analytics and testing to improve engagement and conversions.
- Drive local digital advertising for franchisees, supporting their growth through targeted campaigns.
- Develop and schedule engaging social media content, maintaining brand consistency across channels.
- Analyse performance data, deliver actionable insight and drive continuous improvement in campaign outcomes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, IT, and external partners to align strategies and deliver integrated campaigns.
Location: NZ Support Office & DC (1 Carmont Place, Mount Wellington, Auckland 1060)
Hours: 40 hours, Monday - Friday
What we’re looking for:
- 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, or digital channel management.
- Practical experience through mid-level digital marketing roles is essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills – confident presenting ideas, collaborating across teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of content management systems (CMS), tagging, and performance tracking
- Proven ability to analyse data, generate insights, and optimise digital marketing and channel performance
- Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and external agencies and align strategies
- Experience with paid media (Google Ads, Meta Ads, programmatic) and campaign execution
- Ability to create, schedule, and analyse social media content across multiple platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Diplomas or certifications in Digital Marketing, SEO, or Data Analytics may be acceptable with relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with paid media platforms, SEO, and analytics tools (GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Ads, CRM systems)
- Industry-recognised certifications that can enhance credibility:
- Google Ads & Google Analytics (GA4) Certification
- Meta (Facebook) Blueprint Certification
- HubSpot Content Marketing or Inbound Marketing Certification
- SEO certifications from SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google considered attractive
