The ROM team build the first code that runs on a microcontroller - ROM-embedded software that kickstarts the system, sets up the hardware, and locks down security. Itâs lean, fast, and built to last. We collaborate closely with hardware, validation, and security teams to ensure everything works seamlessly from power-on to production.
đ Responsibilities â What We Do
Analysis of system-level functional and architectural requirements
Verification of firmware implementation against hardware and security specifications
Embedded software testing and root-cause analysis
Design and development of automated test scenarios and validation pipelines
Structured reporting of test results and coverage metrics
Close collaboration with international teams across hardware, validation, and security domains
đ» Technical Knowledge â What You Bring
We expect you to have:
Basic understanding of software development, testing, or validation
Familiarity with C programming, especially in the context of embedded systems
Itâs a big plus if youâve had exposure to:
Python, ideally using Pytest for test automation
Tools like Git for version control and JIRA for task tracking
CI/CD systems such as Jenkins or Bamboo
Working in Linux environments
Target platforms like FPGA modules
