02FIN022023 Senior Finance Manager

Reporting directly to the Group Head of Finance this position will focus on the financial processes and reporting for the consolidated group as well as our JV partners. The role willTinvolve supporting the wider team with change management and process improvement to deliver standardised, group level reporting utilising the technology both available and new to the company. The role will work closely with the Treasury, FP&A, Tax and Cash operations functions within the broader Finance team. The role will involve close co-ordination to ensure reporting quality, timeliness and presentation are significantly improved across all companies.

Key responsibilities will include:

1. FInancial and Management Reporting

• Oversee the regulatory reporting to APRA

• Support of financial processes including month end reconciliations and statistics reporting and balance sheet assurance processes.

• Ensure deadlines for monthly and quarterly board reporting are met for Allied Credigr Group and JV partners.

• Budget and forecasting reporting including commentary and variance analysis on board packs.

• Ownership of Accounting policy and technical accounting updates and processes

2. Statutory Accounting and Audit programs

• Preparation of annual statutory accounts.

• Liaise with external auditors and assist annual auditing.

• Quarterly reporting improvements and external investor communication support.

3. Business Improvements projects

Key Experience, skills & qualifications:

• CA or CPA qualified

• Solid experience in overall general accounting, ideally from a retail finance industry and/or with Big 4 experience

• Strong technical accounting skills with Australian GAAP and IFRS is required.

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to build and deliver effective presentations.

• Demonstrated experience as a people manager

• Experience in leading, managing, and implementing changes to reach a level of strong financial practices and processes.

• Understanding of structured finance/securitisation and financial instruments including swaps would be a strong positive.

• Strong analytical mindset

• Experience in medium/large ERP system (e.g. Sage Intacct) will be an advantage
