Position Description:

Due to significant growth within the business we are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and following up on outstanding payments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing of clients
• Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve any issues or discrepancies
• Prepare and distribute monthly statements to customers
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Work closely with other departments to resolve any billing or payment issues
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
• Assist with month-end closing and other accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP) preferred
