About the Role:
CDW is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Trade Compliance Analyst to support our UK and international operations. Sitting within the Legal, Risk, Ethics and Compliance (LREC) team, you will help ensure the compliant and efficient movement of goods, software, and technology across borders. This role directly supports CDW's global business goals by reducing risk, maintaining compliance, and enabling international growth.
What You’ll Do:
Assist in the development and implementation of robust compliance frameworks.
Review and process international trade opportunities and ServiceNow case tickets.
Conduct export classification (ECCN) reviews and support licence applications via SPIRE/LITE.
Participate in internal audits, analyse anomalies, and support remediation actions.
Collaborate with Procurement, Sales, Logistics, and Supplier Management teams.
Maintain customs documentation databases and perform denied party and red flag screenings.
Support automation and process improvement initiatives.
Key Measures of Success:
Faster and more accurate processing of international opportunity cases.
Increased ECCN classification capacity and reduced export delays.
Improved SLA performance and stakeholder satisfaction.
Identification and mitigation of trade compliance risks.
Contribution to data quality, reporting, and strategic compliance improvements.
Experience & Skills Required:
4+ years in international trade compliance, preferably with customs/logistics exposure.
Hands-on experience with SPIRE/LITE and export licence applications.
Knowledge of key regulations: EU Dual-Use Regulation, UK Dual-Use, US EAR, OFAC.
Strong understanding of Incoterms, ECCN/HS code classification, and embargoes.
Skilled in interpreting complex trade laws and applying them operationally.
Exceptional attention to detail, data validation, and record keeping.
Ability to influence and build relationships across teams and geographies.
