Job Overview:
As Vice President, Strategy & Business Operations, you’ll serve as both a strategic advisor and operational leader for the Service & Supervision organization. Reporting to the SVP, Head of Strategy & Business Operations (‘Chief of Staff’) for Service & Supervision, you will partner closely with senior executives and business leaders to shape strategy, lead high-impact initiatives, and run the business operations that keep our service and supervision functions thriving. You will be responsible for increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of key decisions and making sure the team stays on top of executing and delivering against annual goals. This is a dual-focus role—ideal for a strategic operator who thrives at the intersection of long-term vision and daily execution. We want strong integrators who can turn strategy into outcomes and ensure day-to-day execution stays sharp. You should be comfortable switching between a whiteboard session and a quarterly business review—and bring clarity, speed and structure to both
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership (50%)
- Partner with the SVP and EVP to define, refine and drive the long-term strategy for Service & Supervision
- Lead business-level initiatives, from strategic planning through execution, across service, supervision, and partner functions (Product, Finance, HR, Risk) in-line with Enterprise strategy
- Build, evolve and maintain target operating models to align with changing priorities and client expectations
- Conduct structured problem-solving to uncover insights and shape recommendations that enhance execution and business outcomes across Service & Supervision
- Develop strategic business cases and executive-ready materials for the President, Board of Directors and Operating Committees
- Analyze industry or business trends, performance data and market shifts to inform strategic direction
Business Operations Execution (50%)
- Own and optimize the business rhythms of Service & Supervision, including strategic planning cycles, business and transformation performance & financial tracking and executive reporting
- Oversee core business operations for the chief of staff office, including headcount management, hiring, capacity reporting, budget, programming and leadership off/onsite
- Own and execute key reporting and executive materials for the EVPs, Board of Directions, and Operating Committees
- Stand up and lead special projects and events in partnership with the Chief of Staff and Executive Leadership, inclusive of event planning
- Support talent planning and departmental operating reviews in partnership with HR, Finance, Data & Analytics, and Business Leaders
- Act as a thought partner to department heads and frontline leaders to translate strategy into action

Requirements:
- 8–12 years’ experience in strategy, business operations, or management consulting
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to make strategic recommendations while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding record of academic achievement and professional accomplishment
- Deep understanding of operational dynamics in service, customer experience, or financial supervision & compliance functions
- Demonstrated success leading or supporting enterprise or department-level operations, rhythms and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Core Competencies:
Structured thinker with the ability to clarify ambiguity and build from zero
Executive-level communication, including board material development and storytelling
Proven operator who can lead business rhythms, perform business analysis and performance reporting
Hands-on experience working collaboratively with cross-functional partners (Product, HR, Finance, Shared Services, Data & Analytics) to effectively execute and deliver the story of the business
Strong analytical background; fluent in Excel, PowerPoint and strategic modelling
Collaborative leadership style with the presence and influence to align senior stakeholders
Preferred:
- MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
- Previous experience in Financial Services, wealth management preferred
