1. Business Planning

  1. Keep abreast with business developments to secure opportunities as and when they arise.
  2. Source for potential customers through business referrals.
  3. Carry out groundwork preparation i.e., obtaining information on potential customers’ financial status, business viability and prospects.
  4. Meet with existing / potential customers for rapport building.
  5. Make site visits to check business operations.

 

2. Credit Recommendation

  1. Obtain details and comprehensive information to facilitate proper assessment of customers needs.
  2. Perform proper loan evaluation and through credit analysis.
  3. Ensure proper assessment of collateral value.
  4. Recommend suitable credit package in a profitable manner.
  5. Perform A/A write-up promptly and properly.

 

3. Post Approval Function

  1. Ensure prompt preparation of letters of offer; check to ensure incorporation of all terms and conditions.
  2. Arrange for customers’ acceptance of facilities.
  3. Verify customers’ signatures and check to ensure prompt updating of customers’ records.
  4. Recommend suitable credit package in a profitable manner.
  5. Perform A/A write-up promptly and properly.

 

4. Credit Follow-up Function

  1. Assets / review customers’ financial health, business prospects, conduct of accounts and utilization of facilities to either source for additional business opportunities or to spot early signs of financial deterioration.
  2. Make site visits to monitor business operations.
  3. Monitor facilities already disbursed to ensure their compliance with A/A terms and conditions.
  4. Prompt / proper preparation of renewals and C/As additional facilities required.

 

5. Loan Rehabilitation Function

  1. Carry out loan rehabilitation till stage of summons for civil action and originating summons for foreclosure action.

6. Control

  1. Ensure compliance with the following: 
  2. Bank’s policies / guidelines
  3. All OMs, HRMs and SSPs
  4. Ruies of Bank Negara and other regulatory bodies.
  5. Review work methods / systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
  6. Provide timely reporting of Department operations.
  7. Ensure cost effectiveness in unit operations.

 

7. Communication

  1. Interpret directives / disseminate information to staff for better job direction.
  2. Resolve problems when necessary.
  3. Keep abreast with new guidelines / procedures and to brief staff accordingly.

 

8. Customer Relations

  1. Advise customers where necessary; provide professional, efficient and courteous service.
  2. Provide feedback on customers’ complaints and needs.
