MANAGER CORPORATE FINANCE AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Corporate Finance and Investments:

1. Support in evaluating new investment opportunities based on market research, due diligence, commercial and financial feasibility studies and provide analytical feedback for effective decision making;
2. support and manage the process of working and liaising with the Corporate CF&BD team, advisors, bankers, lawyers on negotiations regarding potential partnerships/ JVs, M&A transactions and Business Development within sectors like logistics, dry ports, transportation companies, assembly packaging facilities, IT platforms, marketplaces, economic zones etc. as may fit the strategy of DPW UAER;
3. Assist in all aspects of the transaction process from initiation, due diligence, financial valuation, commercial terms in SPA/SHA and other legal documents, completion accounts, etc until integration of the entity into the organization;
4. Initiate, review and manage financial models based on different investment proposals, joint venture opportunities, greenfield projects, real estate and build-to-suit proposals, repossessed assets, etc. and provide appropriate recommendations to the management based on the risk and return parameters of the project and Group CFBD policy;
5. Use of quantitative and qualitative analysis for evaluating investment/divestment opportunities
6. Initiate pre and post investment review with the concerned departments of key capital expenditure proposals (P&T expansion/IT digitization projects, asset regeneration projects, etc) using KPIs like ROI, NPV, IRR, Payback period, etc as may be deemed suitable

• Support M&A, investment, and business development initiatives in ports, free zones, and logistics across the GCC, Levant, and Iraq.
• Craft detailed financial models and projections for potential acquisitions and greenfield projects.
• Prepare high-impact presentations for internal and external stakeholders, showcasing our vision and growth plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather critical business information, ensuring accurate financial analysis and reporting.
• Conduct market research and financial evaluations for new project initiatives.
• Assist in negotiating and structuring deals, fostering relationships with external partners.
• Contribute to the development of our long-term business strategy with your financial expertise.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or a relevant field, an MBA is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, strategy, or consulting, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with the ability to create clear and concise presentations.
• Proficiency in evaluating businesses and crafting financial reports.
• Knowledge of M&A processes and experience in conducting market research is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across functions.
• Proficiency in MS Office and financial modeling tools is a must.
