As a Tax Accountant, you will:

 

  • Prepare and complete tax returns and reports involved with federal, state, local, property, sales, and other tax liabilities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all tax laws affecting the company. Review proposals for tax implications and recommend actions that meet business plans while managing tax liability.
  • Assist in tax audits.
  • Assist with forecasting book-tax differences associated with tax payments and quarterly tax provision bookings.
  • Use and maintain tax-specific tools and systems.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum Education (ie Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field)
  • Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher
  • Fresh graduates or graduates with less than 2 years working experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SAP, Excel, BPC and Business Objects
  • Experience with Spotfire, Alteryx or other analytical tools a plus
  • Strong understanding of internal control principles and accounting policies and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to team and collaborate effectively with people in different functions, countries and cultures
  • Ability to build strong, influential relationships
  • Ability to take initiative, prioritize work, balance multiple projects and drive for results in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Navigates ambiguity
  • Attention to detail
