Texas Instruments is seeking experienced Data Scientist to join our team. The role will be responsible for the tool optimization, including productivity, stability and cost. Detailed responsibilities include:
- Use TI fab tool data to identify actionable optimization strategies and improve tool KPIs, such as availability, utilization, efficiency, PPH, MTBC, MTTR and parts lifetime etc.
- Develop AI/ML data-driven solutions to validate hypotheses
- Work with international fab experts to provide TI’s in-house solutions for:
- PM scheduling, unplanned PM, PM quality and prolongation
- Inhibition, idle and clean analysis and strategies
- Golden tool analysis, EC (equipment constants) data mining and management
- Robot arm movement efficiency
- Parts management, including lifetime estimation, failure prediction and quality check
- Recipe efficiency
- Provide technical analysis reports with simulated results and proposed solutions.
Minimum requirements:
- M.S. or Ph.D. in engineering, data science, control systems or related disciplines
- Fab experiences, especially equipment engineering
Preferred qualifications:
- Familiar with data mining / machine learning / AI solutions
- Pattern mining and recognition
- Probability model building / Risk assessment
- Time series data analysis
- Python, toolkits and DB skills
- Ability to frame real-world engineering problems into structured optimization tasks
- Familiar with semiconductor manufacturing tools
- Experiences on Tool/Parts analysis
- PM knowhow, Parts quality and tool productivity
