Job Summary:

The Process Analyst in Manufacturing is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards. This role involves close collaboration with production, engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement across the manufacturing lifecycle. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document current manufacturing processes using tools such as process mapping, time studies, and data analysis.
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in production workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other process improvement strategies.
  • Collect, track, and interpret production data to support decision-making and drive operational efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, throughput, scrap rate, and downtime.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials to support process changes.
  • Assist in the rollout of new manufacturing systems, tools, or equipment by assessing process impacts and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action planning for production issues.
  • Present findings, proposals, and reports to management and stakeholders. 

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in a process or quality role.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies (certification is a plus).
  • Proficient in experience in Tulip.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, data analysis tools, and process modeling software (e.g., Visio, Minitab).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex).
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and quality tools.

 

Salary Range - $58,000-$68,000
