Purpose of role:

The Key Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and developing a group of key accounts to exceed company set sales and profit targets across range of ‘Must sell list’. Daily roles and responsibilities include implementing the business plan, maximising sales, forecasting and planning, range and category development, promotions planning, managing in stock/product lifecycle, coordination of business activities following company direction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with Blackmores’ customers to accomplish organic growth and long-term company objectives.
  • Lead the conversation with customers to understand their strategic priorities, negotiate and propose commercially viable joint business plans that creates winning outcomes for the customer and Blackmores.
  • Lead and develop account plans, forecast business potential and be able to provide insightful recommendations for commercial team to make business decision with solid justification
  • Plan and strive for the flawless execution and manage customer conflict in an effective and respectful manner.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align and deliver business objectives
  • Actively look for opportunities and identify potential risks with action plans recommendation which facilitate commercial team to make decision
  • Take full responsibility of the P&L and forecast accuracy of the assigned accounts/ customers

Who are you?

  • A minimum of bachelor’s degree and sales experience within FMCG is highly preferable.
  • Proven expertise and record of success in the sales function with more than 5 years of sales and/or key account management experience
  • Understanding of the ins-and-outs of retail environment in Taiwan.
  • Independent, confident and results driven with strong interpersonal, negotiation skills and strong commercial acumen.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of the retail environment (Modern Trade Channels, Category Management, distributor management, Sales Development) with strong analytical skill and strategic thinking
  • Good Communication and negotiation skills with various stakeholders
  • Proven experience in demonstrating Integrity, Ambition, Anticipation, Agility and Accountability and ability to inspire a sales team and develop a fun and entrepreneurial Sales team Culture
