Reporting Analyst
Location: Prague Czech Republic
Contract: Full Time
Overall Purpose of this Job:
Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting primarily Procurement organization in EMEA in running efficient operations through providing useful data, critical metrics and leading their efficient review process. The support also includes other services such as POLO, Fleet and others. The analyst prepares data for the quarterly and monthly business reviews. The analyst is responsible for planning and preparing the review, extracting the data, running the calculation scripts, developing reports and dashboards, preparing relevant insights and owning the reviews including follow ups as needed. The analyst presents performance results directly to senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Extracts and manipulates data, runs data flows and prepares regular as well as ad hoc reports for various GS functions/services, primarily for Procurement, POLO and Fleet
- Performs data analysis of performance results, identifies key performance drivers and provides insights to customers
- Works on further automation of the data flows using tools such as Alteryx and others, collaborates closely with DTBI team on this
- Plans and leads Quarterly and Monthly business review, presents key observations and insights
- Documents data flows and knowledge related to assigned activities
- Is expert related to critical metrics and is able to provide explanation of those metrics
- Connects with other R&I regional analysts in sharing best practice
- Is key contact point for Procurement GS EMEA team - works with delivery teams in understanding and fulfilling their reporting needs, prioritizes these with help of R&I Procurement lead
- Communicates and interacts with Procurement stakeholders
We would like if you have:
Education:
- University graduate preferred
Experience and Skills:
- Results oriented, attention to details, able to work systematically, attention to high quality of output and working independently
- Ability to learn new processes and tools, ability to actively share best practices
- Passion for improvements such as automation and new reporting tools
- Ability to frame problems, share those clearly and suggest solution, work in collaboration with others to resolve those
- Ability to plan ahead and prioritize
- Customer focus – ability to understand customers, be able to record needs and prioritize based on capacity planning, active maintenance of multiple stakeholders
- Ability to communicate clearly, prepare and facilitate efficient meetings on 1:1 basis as well as with up to 10 participants with senior leaders
- Demonstrates strong work ethic, respect and cultural sensitivity and awareness
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills with an ability to work with people at different levels and in remote locations
Preferred:
- Experience in Procurement area is an advantage
- Experience in shared services area is an advantage
Other:
- Fluent in English — spoken and written
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of reporting/analytics tools (Alteryx, Tableau) is an advantage, but not necessary
