IESE Business School invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in the Operations, Information and Technology department, at the assistant or (untenured) associate levels, starting in September 2026, preferably in Madrid. We are seeking candidates with a PhD in Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related area, who are committed to excellence in research and teaching. The candidates are expected to develop a rigorous, relevant and impactful research career, with publications in leading academic journals. Although the position is open to individuals from any research subfield and methodology, candidates working in topics related to technology, or in the interface of Operations Management and Information Systems are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates must also be able to teach at the master's and MBA levels and in executive education programs.
IESE is a top-rated international graduate business school with its main campuses in Barcelona and Madrid. It offers a Master's in Management, a two-year MBA program, and several executive programs, both at the national and international levels, as well as a PhD program. The school has additional campuses in New York, Munich, and Sao Paulo, and offers the opportunity to teach in many different countries.
IESE has a tenure system similar to the top schools in the US and salaries are competitive. In addition, the school offers excellent family policies and fringe benefits. More information about the school can be found at https://www.iese.edu.
Applicants should submit a research statement, a teaching statement, a curriculum vitae, copies of selected publications, three letters of recommendation, and a cover letter. Applications will be reviewed dynamically starting on September 1, so early applications are welcome. Members of IESE faculty will be attending the INFORMS Annual Meeting in Atlanta and the ICIS Conference in Nashville. Therefore, candidates attending either of these two conferences are strongly encouraged to mention their attendance in their cover letter and include their presentation schedule. Those who plan on attending INFORMS should submit their application by September 19, while those who plan on attending ICIS should submit their application by November 6.
