Overview Of The Role

KX is hiring a UI/UX Specialist to design and develop responsive, user-centric applications. This contract role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to create elegant, accessible, and performant interfaces for enterprise and AI-powered products.

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Build responsive, user-centric web interfaces using modern frontend frameworks
• Translate UX research and wireframes into functional, visually appealing interfaces
• Follow accessibility standards (WCAG) and ensure cross-browser/device compatibility
• Collaborate on cloud-integrated, microservice-based solutions (AWS/GCP)
• Troubleshoot UI issues and contribute to clear, maintainable documentation
• Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning and retrospectives
• Work with design and collaboration tools like Figma, Git, and JIRA

 

Skills 

• UI/UX Design: Expertise in responsive design, prototyping, and usability testing
• Frontend Tech Stack: HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular/Vue
• Design Tools: Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar wireframing tools
• Accessibility & Optimization: Familiarity with WCAG guidelines and cross-device UX
• DevOps & Collaboration: Exposure to Git, JIRA, Confluence, CI/CD pipelines
• AI/ML Interfaces: Experience designing interfaces for AI/ML-powered or GenAI apps
• Financial Services UX: Understanding of enterprise dashboard and data visualization best practices for BFSI

 

Essential Experience

• 3–5 years of frontend development and UI/UX design experience
• Strong command of JavaScript frameworks and design systems
• Experience in creating responsive, accessible, and modern web applications
• Comfort working in Agile product teams with fast iteration cycles

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Typescript, SCSS, Cypress/Jest, and DevSecOps/OWASP practices
• Familiarity with Node.js, Python, or backend APIs
• Exposure to performance optimization and browser debugging tools
• Knowledge of AI/ML-driven applications or enterprise FinTech platforms
