Senior Executive - Operations

(Based at MDS - Rathmalana)

Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to forecast & prepare an operational plan based on weekly freeze plan to optimise resources & capacity by utilizing manpower & machinery to ensure continues material flow.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute weekly operational plans based on the freeze plan to effectively utilize resources and ensure smooth material flow.
Coordinate with service providers to ensure all machinery and equipment are running efficiently in the operational area.
Support a continuous flow to the needlepoint by improving capacity and driving digitalization and automation initiatives.
Take part in pre-production meetings and ensure all necessary documentation is completed to enable a seamless production process.
Ensure timely receipt of raw materials, accessories, embellishments, and prints to meet production schedules.
Work on improving fabric consumption to reduce waste and support the company’s cost-saving goals.
Guide, train, and support Executives and staff involved in Operations, helping them build the right skills and competencies to achieve team goals.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a relevant professional qualification (such as CIM or CIMA) or Fully qualified in a recognized professional body will be an added advantage
2–4 years of experience in a similar operational role, preferably within the manufacturing or apparel industry.
Proven ability to make sound decisions independently and manage day-to-day operations with minimal supervision.
Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management processes.
Proficiency in IT systems and operational software tools.
Good understanding of fabric conditions and consumption optimization techniques.
