Responsible for managing the production support for the most critical application of the bank. – FLEXCUBE Core banking for multiple locations including Pakistan.
Executing the support strategy of technology by achieving objectives and goals. Responsibilities include delivering unique service by providing high quality of support.
Accountable for support and manage Core Banking system that can impact the bank with huge financial losses, reputational issues, regulator warnings/penalties and also can incur huge operational losses.

Responsible for achieving agreed SLAs
Conduct system analysis and provide support in response to user issues.
Provide technical expertise and recommendations in the assessment of issues and initiatives to support and enhance systems.
Ability to Test FLEXCUBE BAU bug fixes and capture the test data as and when required.
Verify production transfer documentation.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) arising from production system disruption.
Prepare and maintain documentation describing custom configuration and parameterization of 3rd party provided solutions.
Monitor applications to ensure adequate system resources to process at production standards.
Provides technical guidance, information and instruction to other IT staff requiring broader subject knowledge.

Strong business orientation, domain knowledge to comprehend user requirements.
Strong organizational, team building and leadership qualities.
Engineer / Postgraduate with 13+ years of experience in FLEXCUBE hands on experience with product designing and implementation.
Knowledge of Banking domain is a must.
Having Extensive hands-on experience in FCUBS V14.x version
Experience in any banking production support (L1/L2 Support) environment is an advantage
Knowledge of Oracle PL / SQL programming is must
Working knowledge of Product Design and implementation with respect to Business requirements is a big plus
Strong understanding of SDLC process
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Experience of Banking Operations in particular Core Banking, General Ledger, Loans,
Payments, Trade Finance, and other related Banking channels
Exposure of manual testing of Banking software applications is a plus.
Experience in Banking Production Support is an advantage.
