Australia Post is delivering for all Australians. From the vehicles that we drive, to the small businesses that make our communities thrive. We’re delivering for the environment, for our communities, for our customers and for our people. We’re moving forward and we want you to come along for the ride.
Australia Post has an unexpectedly dynamic and collaborative culture that feels more like a start-up than a two-century old icon. The business is full of amazing challenges and opportunities for process analysts who want to design, build, maintain or transform solutions that Australians love and trust.
About the opportunity
Process analysis provides a framework for understanding business requirements, applications, data, business rules, and roles, and clarifies the scope of business change.
Reporting to Discipline Lead – Process, the Portfolio Process Analyst is a senior-level role responsible for conducting process analysis across projects and programs. This role ensures consistency and quality in process documentation, supports other process analysts, and promotes adherence to established standards. The analyst will define process scope, prepare current and future state documentation, and facilitate peer reviews and formal quality control.
Essential Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior process analysis role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of BPMN 2.0, including the ability to apply style guides and templates to ensure consistency and clarity in process documentation.
- Demonstrated success working in complex and large-scale change environments, including transformation programs.
- Experienced in mentoring and coaching other process analysts to build capability and ensure alignment with best practices.
- Able to work independently, make informed decisions, and escalate issues appropriately when needed.
- Collaborative experience with cross-functional transformation teams, contributing to business improvement and strategic change initiatives.
