This position will support both Methodist Fremont Health and Women's Hospital in Elkhorn, NE.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Responsible for managing a broad range of human resources generalist activities for an assigned customer group. This includes providing high-level guidance in the areas of employee relations, performance management, talent development, policy interpretation, and support for organizational initiatives, escalating to HR leadership and Centers of Excellence (COEs) as appropriate. Acts as an early-stage strategic partner to assigned customer groups, and subject matter expert in ensuring alignment between HR practices and business goals. Builds upon foundational HR experiences to offer consultative support and guidance including supporting workforce planning and development efforts, interpreting HR data trends, and guiding leaders in applying HR best practices. Acts as a liaison between frontline operations and COEs, providing insight and recommendations to improve business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
Primary HR Support & Escalation (20%)
Serve as the initial point of contact for general HR questions and guidance. Direct employees to the appropriate Centers of Excellence (CoEs) for specialized support. Escalate complex or sensitive matters to HR leadership to ensure timely and effective resolution.
Workforce Analytics & Strategic Support (20%)
Collaborate with department and people leaders to identify workforce challenges and recommend HR solutions. Leverage HR metrics such as turnover, engagement, and absenteeism to identify trends and support data-driven decision-making.
HR Process Administration (20%)
Facilitate the administration and coordination of key HR systems and processes, including onboarding, new hire orientation, employee surveys, stay/exit interviews, recognition programs, and engagement initiatives.
Strategic Workforce Implementation (20%)
Support the implementation of strategic workforce initiatives, including talent retention efforts, succession planning, change management, and workforce/staffing optimization activities.
HR Program Delivery & Collaboration (15%)
Lead or assist in delivering HR programs and initiatives. Partner with HR leadership and cross-functional departments to implement and communicate system-wide initiatives such as performance management, employee engagement, wellness, and professional development programs.
Community Engagement & Employer Branding (5%)
Support community outreach and engagement efforts to promote NMHS as an employer of choice. Assist with HR-related initiatives that enhance the organization’s visibility and attract a diverse, skilled workforce.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Minimum 4-6 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably with exposure to both generalist and advisory responsibilities.
