LATAM Lending Solution Manager - Global Payment

Responsibilities

About the Team:
The Latin America Financial Services team is focused on delivering convenient, intuitive, and accessible financial solutions to users in Brazil, Mexico, and beyond. From BNPL and personal lending to merchant-focused financial tools, we’re building the infrastructure to support the growth of e-commerce across the region.

Responsibilities:
1. Product Lifecycle Management
Lead the planning and design of credit products such as BNPL, personal credit, and merchant finance, covering both consumer-facing (BNPL, credit loans, revolving loans) and business-facing (merchant loans, early collection) use cases, and define product roadmaps.

Regional Initiative: Design credit products adapted to market-specific payment behaviors and user preferences, such as installment solutions based on Pix in Brazil or relevant products in Mexico.

Define the end-to-end flow of registration, credit issuance, utilization, and repayment, as well as partner-facing processes, ensuring alignment with both compliance and user experience goals.

Optimize the product framework to align with market-specific regulations and licensing structures.

2. Requirements Analysis and Cross-Team Coordination
Identify user pain points and generate solutions based on competitor analysis; produce PRDs with corresponding prototypes.

Work closely with engineering, risk, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.

Engage with LaaS platforms, financial institutions, and regional fintech partners to shape cooperation models and improve funding efficiency.

Support the development of KYC/AML processes in collaboration with regional teams.

3. Data-Driven Strategy and Risk Management
Monitor key metrics such as user traffic, conversion rates, credit approval ratios, and delinquency rates; use A/B testing to iterate on product strategies and drive growth.

Collaborate with platform operations on promotional campaigns and seasonal marketing plans to improve user adoption.

Partner with risk management to implement KYC and credit policies that balance growth with risk control.

Ensure alignment with financial and data privacy regulations in the region (e.g., Brazil’s LGPD, Mexico’s Data Protection Law), and support related regulatory filings and compliance efforts.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree or above, with majors in fintech, computer science, or related fields preferred.
-Over 5 years of experience in credit products within internet finance, having led the full lifecycle of consumer lending or merchant financing projects; experience across operations, risk, or strategy is a plus.
-Strong business acumen: Familiar with the end-to-end credit process and risk control mechanisms; capable of designing effective cooperation models with funding partners.
-Proficient in tools such as Axure or Sketch; skilled in SQL/Python for analyzing user behavior and business performance data.

Preferred Qualifications
-Experience working on credit-related products in Brazil or Mexico, including hands-on implementation of BNPL or installment-based offerings.
-Familiarity with LaaS (Lending-as-a-Service) collaboration models is a plus.
