Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced API Developer to join our cybersecurity team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our internal, cloud-hosted eFraud detection application. The selected candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining secure APIs and user interfaces, as well as ensuring the ongoing reliability and performance of the system in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement new API and GUI functionalities in alignment with cybersecurity and business requirements

• Conduct end-to-end testing, define test scenarios, document defects, and deploy code into production

• Monitor and maintain API and GUI operations, proactively preventing incidents and coordinating incident resolution when required

• Manage application infrastructure including creation, sizing, patching, and decommissioning of VMs

• Ensure proper documentation is maintained and kept up to date for all APIs and associated services

• Participate in testing new services from the internal cloud platform to ensure compatibility and stability

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in API development and production support

• Strong programming skills in Java, with experience in Spring, Spring Boot, and REST APIs

• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GIT, CI/CD pipelines, and relational/non-relational databases (PostgreSQL & HBase)

• Familiarity with Linux, RabbitMQ, and front-end technologies like React or Angular is a plus

• Understanding of application lifecycle management, cloud-based deployments, and security patching practices

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to collaborate in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment

• Excellent communication skills in English and working proficiency in French
