Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Quality Cloud Engineer (Senior SDET) with expertise in front-end testing methodologies and a passion for driving quality through automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in front-end testing frameworks, particularly with Playwright or similar tools like Cypress, and possess a deep understanding of front-end component testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of testers in planning, executing, and automating front-end test scenarios.
Develop and maintain robust test strategies and frameworks for front-end applications.
Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Advocate for best practices in CI/CD, ensuring rapid and reliable deployment of software updates.
Design and implement front-end component tests to ensure the quality and reliability of user interfaces.
Monitor and analyse test results to identify areas for improvement and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Drive innovation in testing methodologies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Senior SDET with a focus on front-end testing.
Strong proficiency in automated testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.
In-depth knowledge of front-end development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and their testing requirements.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) or related fields.
Experience with performance testing and security testing of front-end applications.
Familiarity with backend testing frameworks and APIs.

Salary

$110,000 - 130,000
