The Post
We are looking to strengthen the Accounting and Payroll teaching team at Brent Start Adult and Community Learning Centre, and we want creative, flexible and committed staff to make this possible. This role requires teamwork and a willingness to do what it takes to support Brent Start and the curriculum area.
The Person
You are a dedicated member of staff who consistently puts learners first. With attendance at team meetings, training events and standardisation/audit meetings, you are a person that can be relied upon to produce quality. In addition, you have knowledge and experience of RaRPA and using accreditation with external examination boards.Ideally, you have an accounting qualification at level 4 and above with at least a level 5 teaching qualification. If you do not already hold a teaching qualification at level 5, there can be a discussion around your commitment to gaining them within a certain time period. You may also have some payroll qualifications/experience to add to your list. GCSE or Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths would be desirable. You are expected to work at flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. A current DBS would be welcome.
