The Procurement – NPDI PMO Lead manages resource allocation, process integrity and improvement and KPI/performance reporting on behalf of the Procurement NPDI team while leading process improvement initiatives such as parts standardization, prototype cycle time reduction, etc
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages NPDI resourcing and capacity in terms of project assignments, ensuring resources are balanced and in line with project pipeline.
- Runs monthly Procurement NPDI project reviews with each region to review project performance, Procurement KPIs and deliverables.
- Drives to closure (with NPDI Lead) any project KPI not meeting target.
- Leads process improvement initiatives such as standardization, prototype cycle time reduction, etc.
- Works closely with the BU PMO leads to ensure process collaboration and alignment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years’ experience in Project Management leadership in a supply chain related field
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Must be proficient in MS Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI, Microsoft Project, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to perform under pressure in a very fast paced, complex, and dynamic environment
- Experience with Innovation projects, product commercialization, stage gate methodology and business execution projects.
- Project management experience with Procurement, Production, Supply Planning and Scheduling
- Effectively communicate and influence positive results.
- Experience documenting/designing business processes, performing business analysis, and requirements definition
- Strong organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage a high volume of projects simultaneously
- Ability to project manage and work on multiple assignments concurrently
