Key Responsibilities

Administration / Planning & Reporting:

Assist all stakeholders with providing quotes for small works, T&M, installations, and start-ups.
Support & mentor field personnel in the execution of their normal activities.
Prepare and provide reports as requested by management.
Ensure timesheets are entered in the system correctly.
Provide input into training needs of the team.

Assistance in Team Management:

Assist the supervisors to coordinate and schedule the general duties of Thermal Customer Engineers and subcontractors.
Assist the supervisors to ensure Customer Engineers are equipped with calibrated tools, personal protective equipment, and appropriate documentation.
Respond to customer requests for minor quotation or service advice within a timely manner.
Assist the supervisors to complete follow ups generated by Customer Engineers.
Assist the supervisors and Customer Engineers with complex technical problems.
Be part of the after-hours call out roster where possible.
Carry out Customer Engineer quality audits as required by company policy.
Act as a Service Project Manager on large project startups or maintenances.
Be prepared to undertake company development training programs.

Continuous Improvement:

To be aware at all times of both Sales & Service opportunities for the company, and to report any such opportunities to management.
To ensure that the Sales Department is made aware of all new sales opportunities and prospects, and to work closely with them in achieving this business.

WHS, Environment & Quality:

Requirements:

Mechanical Trade Certificate (state dependant)
Restricted Electrical Licence
Refrigerant Handling Licence
Technical knowledge - data centres, telecom, commercial & industrial or similar industries (highly regarded)
Proven track record within the Air – Conditioning or other precision cooling industry as a service technician
Thermal controls & Networking knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
