MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal postings
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Monitor and track store expenses, revenues, and variances
- Ensure accurate recording of vendor invoices and timely processing of payments
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Collaborate with internal departments (Retail, HR, Procurement, etc.) to ensure financial accuracy
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and internal controls
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions when needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in retail or luxury sector
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Fluency in English, additional language is a plus
