Research Scientist - Biotech R&D

Job Description

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Culturing cells, exposing them to samples, and monitoring for cytopathic effects, hemadsorption, or other indicators of viral presence. 
• Assessing the identity, purity, and stability of cell lines used in production, including testing for endogenous and adventitious viruses. 
• Proficiency in molecular biology techniques such as PCR / NGS.

Additional Considerations:

• Experience with specific cell lines used in biopharmaceutical production.
• Knowledge of different viral detection methods and their limitations.
• Familiarity with biosafety procedures and risk assessment.

Work Experience

5 - 15 years of relevant experience with Masters/ PhD. 

Education

Doctorate in Life Science or BiotechnologyMasters in Life Science or Biotechnology
