Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Marketing Specialist to join our team! In this role you will leads the planning and execution of high-impact marketing and public relations strategies aimed at promoting the organization’s programs, investments, and strategic objectives.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop and lead comprehensive marketing and communication strategies

• Manage media relations, secure high-level media placements, and serve as spokesperson when needed

• Oversee content creation across digital platforms, including social media, press materials, and website updates

• Plan and execute major events, trade shows, and press conferences

• Build and maintain relationships with industry influencers, government entities, and media

• Supervise or mentor junior marketing staff and provide strategic direction

• Analyze marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly

• Stay ahead of market trends and advise leadership on communication opportunities and risks

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field

• Minimum 6 years of experience in strategic marketing and PR roles

• Proven track record in leading successful marketing campaigns and media relations

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience working with government, trade, or investment agencies is preferred

• Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English

• Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams

• Experience with analytics tools, CRM systems, and content management platforms

• Creative, strategic thinker with a strong business acumen.
