Description
Specialty Dental Brands (SDB) partners with leading specialty dental practices across the U.S., in 25 states, providing centralized operational support while allowing dentists to maintain clinical autonomy. The IT Coordinator at SDB, will be responsible for management of key projects with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget and scope. While working as part of the IT team, they will be responsible for assisting the team in a successful planning, monitoring, and closure of multiple high priority projects. The IT Coordinator will be expected to coordinate the efforts to deliver projects according to plan with assistance of the Director of IT. They will manage multiple enterprise-level projects and execute projects from initiation, planning, development, testing to closing.
This is a Hybrid Schedule 3 days in office in Nashville, 2 days remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation including schedules, meeting minutes, status reports, and risk logs
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
- Support the project team in day-to-day project operations and administrative tasks
- Schedule and coordinate project meetings, workshops, and presentations
- Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Communicate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment
- Help manage project resource allocation and task assignments
- Ensure adherence to project management standards, methodologies, and best practices

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in a project coordination or project support role (preferably within IT)
- Understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycle (SDLC), infrastructure, or enterprise applications
- Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or Jira
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies is a plus
