Position Summary

The QC Inspector I position is a pivotal role in the manufacturing quality control inspection department by carefully inspecting the receipt of raw materials, critical and assembled components from receiving and in-process areas to ensure the highest quality of our products. Responsibilities include following detailed SOPs and WIs, maintaining high level of accuracy including attention to the detail, organizational skills, and actively participating in ongoing training programs to continuously enhance skills. 

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience with Quality Control Inspections.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of Inspection tools such as calipers, rulers, and micrometers.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
• Good hand-eye coordination; ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic inspections following detailed instructions and SOPs.
• Ability to utilize basic inspection tools as required.
• Inspect components for quality and report any defects or discrepancies.
• Ensure that finished products meet specified quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Report issues found on inspection tools promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
