We are looking for a Production Support analyst to join Morgan Stanley Technology team that operates globally. This role will be based in Bengaluru , India.

Aspires to join a global production support team focused on improving production plant and stability for the systems and building relationships with the downstream consumers of the systems. Responsibilities:
On a typical day, a Production Support analyst will primarily be responsible for managing the technology stack to ensure we are providing the expected service to our clients thru proactive system alerts, incident management, problem management and user escalations/tickets via ServiceNow (ITIL Framework).
You will use your expertise to tune and push our systems beyond their normal limit.
You will troubleshoot issues across the entire stack: hardware, software, application, and network.
Host Incident calls with IT partners and downstream consumers.
Communicate and collaborate with development teams and users directly on Support issues.
Identify areas for improvement across the team and help build up the team knowledge and support.
Identify and drive opportunities to improve automation for the company; scope and create automation for deployment, management, and visibility of our services.
Engage in ongoing Projects and SRE improvements towards the stability of the plant.
Operate on a follow-the-sun support model, with global production support coverage in Asia, EMEA and North America.
You will participate in weekend and off hours on-call rotation and be point of escalation during critical incidents. Qualifications:
Excellent and confident communicator to manage the multiple clients facing meetings/calls
Required Working level knowledge in SQL server, Sybase and DB2 and PL/SQL.
Bachelor's in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related technology field.
5+ years of practical experience in Production support or similar role.
Knowledge of ITIL Principles is a must,
Knowledge in SDLC is a must.
Knowledge in Agile development practices is a must.
Knowledge of UNIX/LINUX operating system level concepts.
Good to have knowledge in Shell Scripting, Python, Perl, Cobol, JavaScript
Knowledge in scheduling tools such as AutoSys, Crontab, Control-M
Must thrive in a high-pressure environment and enjoy working on new challenges.
Working knowledge of SRE/Observability
