JOB SUMMARY 

This position is responsible for the boarding and maintenance of loans in the core system, processing payments and advances, and various other servicing duties. The position works closely with other members of the Loan Support team. This position requires close interaction with other departments and branches in a tactful and positive manner. 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS 

  • Education:   High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Experience: One year of banking experience with background experience in the lending field preferred

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • Review loan document package for completeness and organize package for funding
  • Fund loans including initiating wire transactions
  • Board loans on loan system including new loans, renewed loans, change in terms, and participations.
  • Perform file checkback and maintenance on boarded loans
  • Process incoming loan payments and advances
  • Process payments and manage participating loans in loan system 
  • Prepare third party and internal payoff quotes
  • Process payoffs and collaborate with lending staff as needed
  • Print, review, and send loan payment notices to clients
  • Manage internal and external requests sent to loan servicing 
  • Daily managing of various accounts and GLs
  • Perform certifications as needed
  • Manage daily and weekly rate changes in loan systems
  • File and amend UCC Filings as needed
  • Review daily reports related to loan system
  • Review and resolve non-posted loan transactions
  • Verify and process loan related invoices 
  • Assist with incoming calls and messages from clients, customers, and bank personnel
  • Assist with escrow analysis reports and statements
  • Be familiar with, and adhere to, regulatory compliance policies and procedures relating to this position
  • Be knowledgeable of bank compliance rules and adhere to Federal and State banking regulations relating to this position
  • Follow all Bank compliance policies and procedures relating to this position
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

ESSENTIAL SKILLS 

  • Knowledge of loan documentation and loan systems
  • Ability to learn and apply applicable regulations regarding lending and bank policies
  • Experience in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to organize, utilize and understand resources used for processes and regulations 
  • Ability to communicate by telephone, email and orally with others in an effective manner
  • Ability to tolerate high levels of stress and prioritize work appropriately
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing tasks, procedures, and priority levels of the workload 
  • Competency in communication with clients with professionalism, tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to work with others in a positive, cooperative manner that supports a team environment
  • Willingness to travel to other locations or departments as needed.
  • Ability to transport, manage, organize, and store physical loan files.
  • Ability to work full-time hours as scheduled in a professional environment
