Job Description
The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and efficient Administrator to provide support in this interesting and varied role. You will be the first point of contact for visitors to site and provide administrative support to our Kopu office (Thames) including assembling reports, data entering HSEQ and financial information, and assisting with accounts and month-end duties.
Normal work hours for this role will be 40 hours, worked 7.00am to 3.30pm, Monday-Friday
We are seeking someone with at least three years of administrative experience who has a strong attention to detail and proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out day-to-day administrative tasks to support operations.
- Prepare internal reports such as budgets, forecasts, and monthly summaries.
- Maintain accurate financial and operational records.
- Communicate with internal teams to clarify and coordinate admin requirements.
- Support health, safety, and environmental standards and practices.
- Participate in company sustainability and circular economy initiatives.
Qualifications
About You
You’re highly organised, detail-focused, and take pride in keeping processes on track. You enjoy working with data and systems and are comfortable handling multiple tasks at once. You know how to communicate clearly and get things done without needing to be in the spotlight.
You’ll bring:
- Experience in administration within a busy work environment.
- Working knowledge of business accounting and reporting.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational ability.
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
- A qualification in business administration or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in the waste or transport industry is a bonus.
