Job Description
As a Financial Data Analyst Intern, you will play a key role in delivering data-driven insights to support strategic and operational decisions across the organization. You will assist in building and maintaining data models, automating reporting processes, and performing detailed data analyses to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
This role provides hands-on exposure to financial data infrastructure and offers opportunities to work cross-functionally with Finance, GTM, R&D, Marketing, and other business units. Your work will contribute to enhanced performance measurement, strategic planning, and forecasting accuracy.
Responsibilities include:
Extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from multiple sources using SQL and Excel.
Building and maintaining dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders.
Supporting business teams with insights on financial and operational performance.
Collaborating on the development of KPIs and metrics that drive business efficiency and transparency.
Identifying patterns and trends in large data sets to support process improvement and decision-making.
Participating in automation initiatives to streamline recurring reporting processes.

Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or a related discipline with a strong analytical focus.
Solid proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX-MATCH, and charting tools.
Practical experience with SQL: writing queries, joining tables, filtering datasets.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Availability to work 2.5 days a week.

Demonstrated experience working with large and complex data sets.
Experience using BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
Comfortable translating raw data into clear business insights and visualizations.
Proven ability to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
A self-starter with curiosity and a proactive mindset toward solving problems through data.
