KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Communication and Intake:

-Greeting customers in a courteous and friendly manner.

-Listening attentively to customers' concerns and documenting issues.

-Providing information about services and maintenance schedules.

Service Department Coordination:

-Scheduling service appointments.

-Writing and submitting service orders for repairs and maintenance.

-Coordinating with foreman and technicians to ensure timely and efficient service.

Administrative and Financial Tasks:

-Providing accurate estimates of service costs and timelines.

-Ordering parts required for repairs.

-Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and service history.

-Operating computer software for scheduling, invoicing, and payment processing.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

-Excellent communication and customer service skills: To effectively interact with both customers and technicians.

-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills: For accurate documentation and record keeping.

-Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment: To manage various tasks and handle multiple customers concurrently.

-Proficiency in computer software and programs: Including Microsoft Office, ERP and CRM software.

-Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of heavy-duty trucks and trailers: To understand customer concerns and communicate effectively with technicians.

-High school diploma or equivalent: A foundational requirement.

 

Schedule:
• Monday-Friday
• 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
• Occasional Saturday work when needed (non-mandatory)
