MDD helps insurance companies, independent adjustment firms, multinational corporations, government entities, and individuals calculate the true economic damage of claims or disputes.We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sr. HR Generalist to support our HR operations in North America (US, Canada, and Latin America). This role plays a critical part in managing day-to-day HR processes, employee relations, HR reporting, while also overseeing general office administration and HR support.
Your New Role
- Provide senior level support in functional areas of Human Resources including but not limited to recruitment and employment, employee relations, job evaluations, compensation management, benefits administration, payroll review, organization development, training and special projects
- Resolve workplace issues by mediating disputes, ensuring policy and legal compliance, supporting employees, and advising managers on performance and disciplinary actions.
- Coordinate the implementation and tracking of employee development plans, ensuring timely updates and documentation of key milestones and deliverables.
- Manage the full process cycle for employee benefits, including liaising with insurance carriers and brokers, initiating enrollments, reviewing monthly insurance carrier billings, and supporting the annual open enrollment process.
- Work closely with HR team members to support department-wide initiatives and maintain a cohesive team environment.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local employment laws and company policies
- Assist with daily operational requests from the business units you are supporting, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of tactical issues.
- Serve as an HR point of contact with employees
What You'll Bring to the Role
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources is required
- HR experience in US, Canada, and Latin America preferred
- Certification from a recognized human resources association like SHRM or HRCI is desirable but not mandatory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Must have the ability to solve problems and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Experience proactively identifying HR opportunities and working in partnership with managers to execute against an HR strategy
- Strong employee relations and conflict resolution skills
