Join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of others! We are looking for a Caregiver Experience Specialist I for our Licensed Home Care team in New York.

This is an on-site position with a commute of 5 days per week into our office located in Bronx, NY. Occasional travel to our secondary location in Jamaica (Queens), NY, may also be required.

**Note: The company covers the cost of monthly parking.

Department & Position Overview:

The Caregiver Experience Specialist serves as the frontline representative for caregivers at FreedomCare’s ACD school and acts as a vital bridge between caregivers and internal teams. This role champions caregiver experience, wellness, and advocacy—ensuring their voices directly influence the programs, processes, and culture at FreedomCare

Every Day You Will:

  • ACD School Support & Experience: Welcome and check in caregivers upon arrival for ACD testing. Set expectations for the day, provide friendly guidance, and create a warm, professional environment that reflects FreedomCare’s commitment to caregiver dignity and support.
  • ACD Process Knowledge & Backup Support: Develop a strong understanding of the ACD school’s internal process—including interview flow, application steps, and day-to-day operations—so you can step in and provide support when needed.
  • Daily Performance Reporting: Send a concise end-of-day summary capturing daily caregiver attendance, testing outcomes, challenges (e.g., tech issues), and team highlights. These insights help shape operational improvements.
  • Office & Swag Management: Manage supply inventory and maintain an organized, well-stocked, and caregiver-friendly workspace. Ensure materials, signage, and giveaways reflect FreedomCare’s high standard of care and branding.
  • Caregiver Advocacy & Engagement: Conduct monthly caregiver check-in calls and gather feedback through surveys and conversations. Share insights with leadership to strengthen caregiver support initiatives and elevate the caregiver experience.
  • Caregiver Experience Documentation: Accurately log caregiver feedback, questions, and concerns into tracking systems. Identify trends and recurring issues to help guide improvements in training, communication, and service delivery.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • This is an in-person role that requires daily travel to our Bronx office. Occasional travel to our Jamaica office in Queens, NY, may also be required.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to effectively interact with caregivers and internal teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities to foster trust and engagement with caregivers.
  • Empathy and active listening to understand caregiver concerns and provide meaningful support.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple caregiver interactions, documentation, and events.
  • Problem-solving mindset to proactively address caregiver challenges and recommend improvements.
  • Data collection & analysis skills to track caregiver feedback and identify trends for company improvements.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation of caregiver concerns and resolutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, data entry, and tracking caregiver interactions.
  • Experience with survey tools (e.g., Google Forms, SurveyMonkey) for gathering caregiver feedback.
  • Basic event coordination or planning experience (a plus).
  • Ability to travel to different locations when required (Events, ACD schools)
  • Must have an active driver license & vehicle as this role will require travel throughout Bronx, Queens and neighboring boroughs
  • Comfortable working in both in-office and field environments to engage with caregivers directly.
  • Passionate about caregiver advocacy and making a difference in the home care community

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience working for a LHCSA or homecare agency, desired
  • Bilingual English - Spanish, a plus

At FreedomCare, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides our employees with the opportunity to professionally grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $18.00 and $23.00 an hour at the commencement of your first year of employment. Compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors which may include, but are not limited to: skill set, years of relevant experience, education, location, and licensure/certifications.
