We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role will focus on building and modernizing build and release pipelines for legacy systems, managing infrastructure that is migrated from Data Center to Cloud, and implementing scalable DevOps practices in a single-tenant application environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary to support the software development lifecycle. This role demands a deep understanding of CI/CD practices, cloud platforms, automation, and collaboration across engineering teams to improve deployment frequency, reduce lead time, and enable high system reliability.
You will:

Containerization & Kubernetes:
Leverage Docker and Kubernetes for containerizing legacy .Net Web applications and orchestrating workloads in production environments. -
Build & Release Pipelines:
Design, develop, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for applications with legacy code and artifacts using modern tooling and automation strategies. -
Infrastructure Modernization:
Lead and evolve legacy systems into scalable, modern platforms. -
Pipeline Automation & IaC:
Automate infrastructure provisioning and pipeline components using Terraform. Ensure reproducibility and consistency across environments. -
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Design and manage cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure/AWS including resource provisioning, monitoring, scaling, and security. -
Virtual Machines (VMs):
Maintain and optimize virtual machines, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. -
Security & Compliance:
Ensure secure access, encryption, and vulnerability scanning as part of deployment and runtime environments. -
Design & Documentation:
Create detailed design documents, architectural diagrams, and standard operating procedures. Share plans and establish timelines and estimates for DevOps projects. -
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth delivery pipelines. Communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members effectively. -
Mentorship & Best Practices:
Mentor junior engineers and developers on DevOps best practices, CI/CD strategies, and infrastructure design.
What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of experience in a DevOps or infrastructure engineering role.

Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for legacy and modern applications.

Strong hands-on experience with Azure services and tools.

Proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles.

Solid experience managing and maintaining VMs in production environments.

Deep understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration best practices.

Experience with lift-and-shift projects and working in single-tenant application models.

Strong communication skills and ability to write high-quality design and strategy documents.

Experience working cross-functionally with software development teams.

Ability to estimate timelines, define milestones, and drive DevOps initiatives from concept to completion.
Pay Range: $120,825 - $169,155
