E&I Supervisor HVAC

Job Description

1. Supervision & Coordination

• Lead and manage a team of E&I technicians and electricians.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality workmanship.
• Coordinate with other departments (mechanical, operations, HSE, etc.) for smooth execution of tasks.

2. Installation & Maintenance

• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Ensure proper maintenance of electrical panels, motors, transformers, control systems, and field instruments.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation faults to minimize downtime.

3. Permit to Work (PTW) & Safety Compliance

• Ensure all E&I work is performed under the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
• Adhere to HSE policies and industry safety standards (OSHA, NFPA, IEC, ATEX, etc.).
• Conduct safety toolbox talks and enforce PPE compliance among team members.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain records of work performed, test reports, and material usage.
• Prepare daily progress reports and communicate with project managers.
• Ensure compliance with electrical drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and as-built documentation.

5. Troubleshooting & Optimization

• Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies in electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Recommend improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Experience: 5+ years in oil & gas (E&I supervision).
• Certifications: PTW certification, CompEx (for hazardous areas), H2S Awareness, and First Aid (preferred).
• Skills: Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and field instrumentation.
