About the role:
You’ll be joining a team of 9 IT professionals (developers and engineers, testers, and requirement specialists) focused on developing and maintaining critical customer-facing systems that support SEB’s Liquidity Management solutions—key tools in our Cash Management offering. We’re constantly improving our services and delivering new functionality to meet both today’s demands and tomorrow’s regulatory and business challenges.
We’re looking for a Solution Engineer who enjoys working in an Agile environment, improving automation, and supporting secure, stable, high-performing systems delivered by our suppliers and installed at SEB. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced colleagues, contribute to system improvements, and expand your DevSecOps knowledge.

As a Solution Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing, maintaining, and optimizing vendor-developed Liquidity systems using PL/SQL, Openshift and related technologies
- Daily collaboration with external vendors in development/deployment, maintenance and support
- Deploying Docker images, ensuring the security and integrity of applications
- Participating in daily support and on-call rotations to swiftly resolve incidents and ensure minimal downtime
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless integration between systems
- Optimizing system performance and suggest improvements to make systems run stable and sustainable
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
- Familiarity with DevOps mindset and related technologies like Openshift, Kubernetes and tools such as GitHub, SonarQube, JFrog or similar platforms will be considered advantageous
- Experience working with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, AppDynamics, or Splunk, and are familiar with integration technologies like CFT, IBM MQ, and REST APIs
- Linux background
- A background in IT Engineering, computer science, or related fields, or someone from a different profession seeking to pivot into tech
- Previous experience in support/maintenance area of IT is a big plus
- Strong interest in learning complex solutions and solving structural challenges in an environment that is full of dependencies
- A team player mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow within a tech-driven environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and work in a collaborative team setting
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Also, it would be advantageous to possess:
- Strong communication skills, especially in a cross-country team environment
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead efforts in system improvement
