Job Description
- $81K - $120,000K pa FTE inclusive of super + phone + laptop + reimbursement of daily work kms travelled + tolls

- 3 to 5 days a week, part time and full time roles available in Sydney, Western Melbourne, Canberra, and the Illawarra region

- Structured program of clinical training sessions, introduction to Positive Behaviour Support and ongoing, monthly training your first year to 18 months

- Support 3 to 4 participants per day in the community. Unlike private practice, you don’t need to chase referrals – we will help you build a sustainable caseload

Our trusted Aspect Therapy team aim to support and empower individuals on the spectrum and their families/support network to bring about meaningful change based on functional goals. We work in partnership with the individual and their families/support network to identify strengths, areas of need, and develop support strategies that build capabilities and work with participant's interests. We meet participants in their community setting to work on transferrable skills that shape their everyday lives. This is career diversity on a whole new level!

Qualifications
What you bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy, speech pathology
- 1 to 3 years of experience in speech pathology or occupational therapy
- Working in disability services a plus, but not required
- A self-starter who wants to deepen skills in neurodivergence
- Speech Pathology Australia membership of willingness to obtain (speech pathologists)
- Current driver’s licence, use of own vehicle for business purposes (reimbursed per km) and willingness to travel across your local community
- Keen to work itinerantly in the community, building strong participant relationships
- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
- Working with Children Check for paid employment for the state you reside in
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’ certificate. If you have not already completed the free module, click here to access it.
- You may be required to provide an international police clearance
